About this pieceStory, details and how to wear it

Left to right, the leaves change colour. The two maple leaves on the left are silver and paved with tiny white stones, the two on the right are gold, and the centre leaf has a pearly white inlay inside a gold edge, its stem curling down. Five in a row, it reads like one leaf turning with the season.

The chinar trees in Srinagar turn exactly this way in November. Wear it on that trip, or hand it to the travel partner who books the houseboat, makes the list and still forgets her own charger.

Material: 925 Sterling Silver
Finish: Two tone: silver and gold
Stones: White stones and white inlay
In the box: 1 piece

How to wear it

Warm with a rust pheran or a camel coat, and just as good with a cream kurta. Since it carries both finishes, mix silver and gold rings freely.

CareFour habits that keep silver bright

Last on, first offPut it on after perfume, lotion and hairspray. Take it off before a bath or a swim.
Wipe after wearingA soft dry cloth clears skin oils before they dull the shine.
Store it closedIn its box or a zip pouch, away from air and moisture.
Polish to refreshSilver darkens naturally with time. A silver polishing cloth brings it back.
