About this pieceStory, details and how to wear it
A phuljhadi at its brightest second: that is the shape. A round centre stone sits in a tight ring of tiny ones, and from there long tapered baguette-cut stones shoot outward in every direction, with small round stones tucked between. It is a full size that covers the lobe.
Clearly one for Diwali night, between the diyas and the anaar on the balcony. Your mami draws the rangoli, makes the sweets and keeps the guest list every year, and deserves something of her own to wear when the lamps are lit.
