About this pieceStory, details and how to wear it
Built in rings, like a kolam seen from above. The outer edge is a scalloped line of small round stones, five soft petals. Inside, baguettes point inward like rays, and at the very centre a round stone sits among small marquise shapes. Wider than a usual stud, it covers the lobe fully.
For one week your flatmate's amma stayed with you, and drew a kolam outside the door every morning before anyone was awake. Post her a pair before Pongal, with a photo of the doorstep, which has looked bare ever since.
